How to Get the Real-Deal Lindsay Necklace—Without the Whole Felony Thing

How to Get the Real-Deal Lindsay Necklace—Without the Whole Felony Thing

Care for a memento of Lindsay Lohan's latest troubles? Now's your chance!

On the eve of Lohan's felony court date, Kamofie & Co., the jewelry store from which the troubled actress purportedly lifted a $2,500 diamond necklace, has announced plans to auction off the bauble to the highest bidder and donate the proceeds to charity.

Pssst! Linds, get in on this. It could be a steal!

A rep for Kamofie says that the store's owner just wants to have something "good" come out of the Lindsay fiasco (presumably aside from all the free publicity Kamofie's been generating on top of the payday from its sale of the surveillance tape).

"We invite the public to make suggestions as to the most appropriate charity to receive the benefit of the sale's proceeds," sats spokesman Christopher Spencer, adding that people can do so at necklacevideo.com.

The auction will not take place until after the criminal case against the Mean Girls star is resolved since the necklace is currently being held as evidence should the case go to trial.

On that note, with just about 24 hours until Lohan is set to go back to court for the necklace-napping charge (we'll be livestreaming the show tomorrow morning beginning at 8 a.m.), she is still trying to work out a deal that will spare her jail time. Her lawyer, Shawn Holley, and prosecutor Danette Meyers are planning to meet with Judge Keith Schwartz today in hopes of reaching a last-minute plea bargain.

Will they figure something out? We're not holding our breath.

Angry Birds Game Coming to Facebook

Rovio CEO Mikael Hed says the immensely popular Angry Birds game is coming to Facebook next month with “completely new aspects to it that just haven’t been experienced in any other platform.”

According to All Facebook, Hed used the word “collaborative” to describe aspects of the game, adding that “the pigs will have a more prominent role.”

Take a look at the Angry Birds page on Facebook, and you’ll see that something is up. If you “like” the page, Rovio promises to keep you posted on all the latest news about the upcoming Angry Birds migration to Facebook.

Other game developers must be envious of the meteoric rise of Angry Birds. First it starts out as an iPhone game, then it’s ported to Android, Palm and Nokia, then suddenly there are multiple versions of the game, and it’s showing up on PCs, PSP/PS3, Windows 7 Phone, there’s a movie tie-in, an animated series, and there’s even a 3D version in the works. And next month we’ll be playing it on the largest social network in the world.

Please tell us in the comments how you think Angry Birds will do on Facebook, and what you think that collaborative aspect of the game might be.

Charlie Sheen to Appear on UStream Live Tonight

Charlie Sheen to Appear on UStream Live Tonight

It’s hard to tell what’s going to happen, but Twitter sensation Charlie Sheen just tweeted that he will appear live tonight at 10 Eastern (7 Pacific) on UStream, an online video channel.

He didn’t indicate what else would be going on during his UStream netcast, where he’ll probably be cavorting and horsing around on a program he’s calling Sheen’s Korner.

Here’s Sheen’s tweet:

WORLD.. live 7:00p pacific time..! Tune in, turn on… Its #TigerBlood tonight!!

There’s little information about this upcoming appearance, so for now, we’ll just have to speculate and guess what on earth he’s going to do with this live video stream. According to Sheen’s latest tweets, he’s settled a legal dispute with his wife with a verbal agreement, so maybe now it’s time for him to celebrate.
